置顶 全国 医学考博英语统考与自主出题有何区别?
"Medical postgraduate exams in China may vary; while some institutions use a nationwide standardized test, others like Peking University Health Science Center (since 2007) set their own exam format. The national test includes listening comprehension, multiple-choice questions, cloze tests, reading comprehension, and a 1000-word English abstract from Chinese text. PKU's version adds listening with word-fills, 3 reading comprehensions + an English-to-English translation, a cloze without options, error correction, and a 250-300-word essay. Note that PKU's听力 section can differ annually. Its exam is more challenging, with a 50/50 mix of subjective and objective questions compared to the mostly multiple-choice national test. To prepare effectively, start revising English in December, focusing on vocabulary and doing targeted practice from January onwards. Allocate about half your study time for English due to its comprehensive nature covering tricky grammar and vocabulary points. Also, be prepared for potentially different listening conditions during the exam.
